Hi, I’m Yi Lin. I’ve coached product marketers since 2020 and have supported nearly 400 PMMs across job searches, career transitions, and leadership challenges.
I first developed this job search approach while navigating my own PMM job search. Generic job-search advice didn’t reflect how PMMs are evaluated, so I built a unique system around owning your competitive differentiation and the way hiring decisions are actually made.
Those same principles helped me get hired with zero product marketing experience, and then move from a new PMM to Director in less than three years, while hiring and leading my own teams.

You do not need to know exactly what is wrong before joining. Diagnosing that is part of the process.

The foundational mechanics may be familiar, but the work is calibrated for experienced candidates. Senior PMMs often need to translate a broad body of experience into a focused narrative, demonstrate strategic impact without over-explaining and show the executive presence expected at their target level. The frameworks and coaching help you do that.

We’ll separate the facts you need to address from the unnecessary explanation that can make a candidate sound defensive. During your strategy kickoff and interview work, you’ll build a concise, honest framing that gives context and redirects the conversation toward your strengths and fit.
